Everyone's Chasing Glow. I'm Chasing a Number.
Two VISIA scans 23 months apart, the treatments that moved the numbers, and the four metrics that went the wrong way.
@bellingwood on InstagramWatch the VISIA reveal →Glow is a vibe. A VISIA scan is a receipt. I scan every quarter and let the machine tell me whether any of this is actually working.
Two scans, 23 months apart
- Skin age: 33 at age 37 → 34 at age 39. Two years passed; my skin aged one.
- UV spots: 32nd → 60th percentile. The biggest jump, and it's a sunscreen-and-resurfacing result, not a serum result.
- Redness: 40th → 53rd. Brown spots: 86th → 92nd. Wrinkles: 98th → 99th.
- What went down: pores 79 → 68, texture 61 → 45, surface spots 86 → 67, porphyrins 36 → 21. I'm showing those too. I have oily skin, so pores are always the fight; I don't get facials as often as I'd like, I should be better about masks, and March is peak dry-skin season.

VISIA percentiles rank you against people your age, gender and skin type. Higher is better.
What I actually do

- Moxi, twice a year. Moxi isn't the reset; it's what keeps the reset from fading.
- Halo, the deep reset. Once a year, every February/March. Moxi holds the line in between.
- Neurotoxin, quarterly. Honestly, a big part of the wrinkle score.
- Recovery: Alastin Skin Nectar is out. INvo Renewing Serum (link coming when it launches) + Pavise ECM Restore are in. Pavise ECM Restore is the newer formula: not fully occlusive, stronger healing data in my read, and what Dr. Piazza now uses post-laser. INvo is for exosome delivery, drawing on three mesenchymal sources; better than Plated, in my book.
- Every morning: Pavise Dynamic Age Defense SPF 30 — the UV-spot jump is the sunscreen.
- The rule: retinoids off two weeks before any laser. Non-negotiable.
Eyes, split by time of day: Pavise Precision Eye Lift under my eye patches in the morning (shop, BRIAN10 applied); Exoceuticals EXO EYE at night, my exosome eye cream (shop EXO EYE, BRIAN10 applied).
New this year: Ultherapy + Sofwave, combined
My first skin-tightening round. I wanted tightening that lasers can't reach: lasers work on the surface, and these two ultrasound treatments go deeper. At my age it's about prevention and modest results, not a transformation. Nothing replaces a facelift later in life, but prevention is the name of the game for me right now.

My day and night routine, splurge to K-beautyShop my full routine in the Skin Hub →Piazza links take 10% off with BRIAN10 automatically. I do marketing work for The Piazza Center. n=1, my own scans, not a clinical study.
