I Stopped Throwing Away Eye Masks
Single-use patches are the paper towels of skincare. Here's the swap, and the serum that does the actual work.
@bellingwood on InstagramSwipe the eye-patch carousel →I used to go through a box of single-use eye patches a month. Hydrogel, foil pouch, trash. Every morning.
Then I did the math on what the patch was actually doing. Mostly? Holding the serum against my skin so it doesn't evaporate. A reusable silicone patch does that job, forever.
The patches
- Dieux Forever Eye Mask — the fish-shaped ones you've seen on me. Wash, dry, reuse. → Shop Dieux Forever Eye Mask
- The budget 10-pack — silicone patches for gym bags, travel and the ones you'll lose. → Shop the 10-pack on Amazon

What goes underneath (this is the part that matters)
The patch is a lid. What you put under it is the treatment.
- What I use: Pavise Precision Eye Lift ($128). To me it's the most premium eye product on the market, and the science is why. Pavise was founded by Sophie Bai, an MIT-trained chemical and biomedical engineer who worked on nanotechnology drug delivery for cancer treatment before turning it on skin. Precision Eye Lift is built on Pavise's DiamondCore® technology and a recombinant proteome matrix, made to firm, smooth and brighten the thinnest skin on your face. Even the surgeon who stocks it is honest about the ceiling: no cream removes excess eyelid skin. What it can do is support firmness and soften crepey texture. 10% off with BRIAN10, already applied at this link → Shop Pavise Precision Eye Lift
- Lower-priced pick: Dieux Auracle. Not what I use — I want Pavise's firepower — but a great option at a lower price. → Shop Dieux Auracle Eye Gel

The proof: my VISIA wrinkle score went from the 98th percentile (April 2024, age 37) to the 99th (March 2026, age 39). Higher is better: it ranks you against people your age, gender and skin type. Honest caveat: a lot of that score is neurotoxin, which relaxes the muscle that makes the lines. Topicals are how I protect the rest, and Pavise is what I'm using now. Next scan will tell.

How I use them

- Morning, clean skin, Pavise Eye Lift tapped along the orbital bone.
- Patches on while I make coffee: 10 minutes minimum, 20 if I have the luxury.
- Peel off, tap in what's left.
- Rinse the patches with warm water and a drop of cleanser, air-dry, back in the case.
- SPF.
